Lens Protocol

Lens protocol, a “Decentralized social graph”, is developed by the famous DeFi protocol Aave team. It is a permissionless, composable protocol for anyone to develop web3 social platforms on. Lens protocol is based on Polygon, currently deployed on Polygon Mumbai testnet.

Watch out for:

• The Aave team will launch a flagship social media application in Q1.

• The team mentioned a “fair launch”, watch for “fair-is-fair” in Discord.

POAP

People love POAPs!

But if you haven’t heard about it, POAP or proof of attendance protocol is a collectable badge to prove the attendance for any online or offline events.

Backdrop

Backdrop is a social platform for DAOs and other Web3 communities.

It’s a place to keep up with the latest governance proposal, funding, opportunities, announcements, and community discussions of the DAOs you follow.

It can be used as a DAO worker credential. A user profile shows current projects and activities like voting participations, participated POAPS events.

Context

Context @context

If you are into NFTs, Context is the best way to stay current on what’s going on. Follow the wallets you care about and see what everyone is minting, buying, & selling in one beautiful feed.

Context is the instagram-like NFT social feeds of minting, buying and selling activities from any wallets you follow or curated communities.

Context has curated communities like FWB members, Punk holders and PartyBid.

It’s great for tracking the latest NFT activities.

Orbis

Orbis is like a Web3 social network built on Ceramic and Arweave. It’s a Web3 version of Twitter plus Reddit.

With Decentralized IDs (DID), users own their personal informations and can carry to different decentralized applications.

Decentralized encrypted direct message between Ethereum addresses is available on Orbit.

Yup

Yup is a curate-to-earn social network for curators built on Yup protocol, a decentralized social consensus protocol.

This is a platform for curators, influencers and taste makers to leave a mark on the blockchain as a proof for the content they discovered early before trending or make them trend. Users can curate Web2 things like Tweets, youtube video, music and Web3 things like NFT, Mirror articles to earn the $YUP token.

Disco

Disco is something like a data backpack full of your varies digital identities, both on-chain and off-chain, where you can bring it with you from dApp to dApp and choose what information about yourself (which part of your digital identity) you want to disclose.

Showtime is a NFT social network and marketplace.

It’s a platform for creators and collectors to showcase NFTs and create NFTs on the Polygon network (with no gas fees: free minting + listing).

Hyype

Hyype is a NFT social platform for creators and collectors to write and share lores about their NFTs. At the moment of writing, Hyype supports a collection of different NFT projects, soon will support any ETH wallet address to engage, according to Discord discussion.
